Learning Expeditions

Structure: Each grade engages in 3 interdisciplinary Expeditions each year.

Culturally Relevant Topics: Learning is organized around big questions and meaningful topics.

Exhibitions: Learning is made visible to the larger community at the end through an exhibition/share.

Skill-based Instruction

Targeted: Students are flexibly grouped based on periodic assessments by teachers.

Standards: Instruction is based upon grade-level standards in student-friendly learning targets.

Research-based Programs: Students develop mastery of key skills and strategies through:
